On September 19 the México City suffered an earthquake that devastated several parts of my country, from this comes the idea of creating this piece, a tribute to my country, to my people
Madre Tierra / Mother Earth.
Taking as my base the Aztec legend of the Coatlicue (goddess of life and death), I made this piece entitled: "Madre Tierra", a piece that represents our roots in a contemporary way and personal vision, showing the greatness of the woman in our culture and the world.
The illustration is designed with a contemplative and informative vision, showing Mother Earth as the central element, later the creation: man, woman and children. In the bottom part we see the death taken from the hand of herself, representing the cycle of life and the intrinsic relationship between life and death.
A tribute to my mother, my sister, my partner and all the women.
